link-short provides URL shortening, click tracking, and link management services. The service is available to guests (no account) and registered users.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Not use the service for illegal purposes
- Not create links to malware, phishing, or spam content
- Not abuse the API rate limits
- Not attempt to circumvent service limits or security
4. Account Terms
- You must provide accurate information when registering
- You are responsible for your account security
- You may not share your account credentials
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms
5. Links and Content
- You retain ownership of URLs you shorten
- We are not responsible for the content of linked pages
- We may remove links that violate these terms or applicable law
- Guest links expire after 7 days; paid plan links have longer retention
6. Payment Terms
- Paid plans are billed monthly or annually
- Prices are listed on the Plans page
- Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase
- We may change prices with 30 days notice
7. API Usage
- API access is subject to rate limits per plan
- You must not share API keys publicly
- Automated abuse of the API will result in suspension
8. Limitation of Liability
link-short is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service, including lost links, data, or business opportunities.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
